The Asphodel Cycle begins with The Reckoning of Asphodel where a young Tamsen witnesses the murder of her family by her evil uncle.  Taken in by the Elves, she grows in her understanding of her dual role as a bridge between the Human and Elven populations.  Tamsen also finds love in the guise of a disgruntled Elf named Brial.
